The Degree Program in Geological Sciences and Technologies includes field training activities, some of which are shared across the three curricula. These are one- or multi-day periods during whichstudents have the opportunity to observe variousgeological features in Tuscany (the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the Apuan Alps, the Metalliferous Hills, Elba Island, etc.) and other regions of Italy (the Aeolian Islands, the Phlegraean Fields, the Eastern Alps, etc.). The instructors of each program informstudents about the off-campus fieldwork programs, which vary from year to year.
